Chantelle Seddon, RN, Has Joined Vintage View Medical
We are pleased to announce that Chantelle Seddon, RN, has joined our clinic as a Nurse Coordinator, part of the Central Okanagan Primary Care Network (PCN), implemented by Interior Health.
The Nurse Coordinator works alongside family physicians and nurse practitioners to support patient care. Nurse Coordinators are registered nurses bringing a varied experience from maternity and pediatric nursing care, to intensive and emergency care.
A Nurse Coordinator provides: - Connections and referrals to other members of the PCN team as well as services and programs in the community. - System and resource navigation, i.e. Home and Community Care referrals - Health promotion and preventative screening. - Chronic disease and self-management support - Individual and group education, screening and assessments - Therapeutic Interventions, i.e. ear irrigations, basic wound care, routine baby well checks - Care coordination for patients living with complex conditions ie frailty, chronic pain, mental health, addiction etc.
At this moment, Chantelle Seddon’s term of service with Vintage View is November 2025- May 2027.
Dr. Lavanchy Has Retired

NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS OF DR. MARCEL LAVANCHY
Effective from Wednesday, Oct 1, 2025, Dr. Lavanchy's practice has closed, as he retired from clinical practice. All his current patients have been notified about this through multiple other channels, including direct letters and emails. Despite our clinic's efforts so far, we could not find yet a replacement for him. His patients were instructed about their options to ensure ongoing care. The other practices in the clinic are at capacity, so they will not be able to incorporate (with possibly very small exceptions, at the discretion of each doctor) any of Dr. Lavanchy's patients.
We wish Dr. Lavanchy a well-deserved rest and enjoyment of his retirement!

While booking online with us in itself is not new, the new system is a significant improvement over the previous one.
