Dr. Richard Blakemore is a UK trained GP (General Practitioner). He qualified in 1993 from Newcastle Upon Tyne Medical School and completed his GP training in 1997. He worked in a variety of roles in the North of England and Edinburgh before emigrating to Canada in November 2017. Here he built quickly a full-scope family practice. He holds a Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
He has a keen interest in elderly care medicine and regularly visits Care Homes to see his numerous patients.
He enjoys being involved in growing the local professional life from his position as the Treasurer of the Board for the Central Okanagan Division of Family Practice.
